As a sole proprietor, I handcraft jewelry from a passion that has developed over the years for adornment made from all types of beautiful gemstones, agates, rondelles, semi-precious stones, crystals, and pearls.
One of a Kind Precious Jewels began years ago. As I was preparing my ensemble for work, I couldn’t find complementary accessories. My daughter is an experienced jewelry crafter so I asked her to create a few pieces for me. However, finding the time to finish the adornment proved to be a challenge. Amid the various jewels and gems I asked her to show the art of handcrafting jewelry to me. I didn’t know how much fun and expressive handcrafting jewelry would be. Once I began, I didn’t want to stop! I studied the history of jewelry design, and invested in several classes. Needless to say, an addiction and passion to create and design jewelry that is exquisite, stylish, classy and sometimes sassy was born.
The standard that I set for my creations is embodied in the name of my enterprise, “One of a Kind Precious Jewels.” Originality at its best!
