Joshua Colley | Percussion

Joshua Colley is a musician, private teacher and producer from Kansas City, Missouri born in 1988. He graduated high school from Lincoln College Preparatory Academy in 2006 where he won numerous awards for academic and music honors. Currently, he has a bachelor’s degree in Music Business with an emphasis in percussion and understudy in music technology at Missouri Western State University

Colley has been teaching private percussion lessons for 6 years; in 2006 he accepted a position to teach with the Missouri Western Institute where they reach out to youth in greater St. Joseph, Missouri community. There he taught privately, performed in clinics, instructed summer music caps, and volunteered to teach music to the Northwest Missouri chapter of Boy Scouts of America. Today he is privileged to be one the private teachers here at Alford Music where he has taught for more than a year. Many of his students are succeeding at high levels and he tries to implement wisdom and discipline to all of his students.
